During the stay at home orders by various state governors, Missouri, many of insurance companies are offering a refund to their clients. Many companies are offering a 15% discount of two months of auto insurance premiums, due to less driving activity. The companies will refund the money, pending state approval, back to the insured's checking or credit card used to have paid the auto premium. Some companies may refund all at once at end of April or perhaps in 2 stages: 1 refund at end of April and 1 refund at end of May. Check with your agent to see how your company will handle this, by the way this is automatic and a policyholder does not need to request the refund.
