A question came up, garage door hit their parked car. Is this a Comprehensive or Collision loss? Collision refers to upset of your covered auto or it's impact with another vehicle or object. While Comprehensive(a.k.a. Other Than Collision) covers losses like: Missiles or falling objects, animal, explosion, earthquake, flood, hail, tree falling on car, vandalism, riot, glass breakage, fire or theft. In my research, the loss appears to be an at fault collision loss. If you have any further questions please contact Flanigan Insurance at 314-727-6000.
