The standard auto policy provides coverage for car, spare tire, jack and child seat. Auto policies simply do not cover items stolen from a car such as sunglasses, phones, sports equipment, gifts, packages etc.
When it comes to pickup trucks items not automatically inscluded would be a camper shell, tool boxes, tools used for a profession i.e. contractor equipment, ladders, lawn equipment folks with lawn mowers, trimers etc.
