Mo auto liability limit increasing

It's about time, the Missouri auto liability limit will be increasing slightly from 25/50/10 to 25/50/25 effective 7-1-2019.  This means the Property Damage limit will change from $10,000 to $25,000 for any one accident.  In other words if a person has a 3 car pile up the new maximum limit paid out will be $25,000 for all damages. Review Auto Insurance Liability Limits

A client asked me, I carry 50/100/50 liability limits, is that adequate?  This is a loaded question, I would say yes it is adequate if a minor accident occurs; however, if a major accident occurs you better hope your policy limits are not exhausted....if so any awards over the limits will have to come out of YOUR pocket.
