United Health Care offers a number of Short-Term Health Insurance policies. The short term policy is NOT Affordable Care Act(ACA) Health Insurance, at end of the year a short term policy holder will NOT receive a 1095-B form. Short Term policies can fill a void for people between jobs or waiting for other coverage to begin. These short term policies do NOT cover pre-existing conditions. The policies offer a variety of deductibles, co-insurance and even a maximum policy payout such as $1,000,000 or less. Generally the short-term policy is much less expensive as they do not cover maternity and other mandatory coverage's the ACA mandates.
