Is 25/50/10 enough or should go with 50/100/50, 100/300/100 or 250/500/250 limits? This agency recommends "higher the better", we all have seen 2,4 or 6 car pile ups on highways or the news. What we rarely see is how the court case's were settled 3-4 years later. If an expensive judgement is made to a person with 25/50/10, 50/100/25 or whatever limits then what? Most likely garnishment of wages until loss is paid in full. This may cause bankruptcy, simply for not being responsible and failing to obtain better protection with higher limits. The State of Missouri can only mandate minimum limits; however, most responsible drivers obtain higher limits JUST IN CASE.
